Features

Built around the outage routine

The power goes out — start the generator in one tap — keep an eye on it — don't miss the service. Everything else the app works out for you.

Start and stop from Home

Running generators move to the top with a live timer and a big Stop button; idle ones sit below with Start. Stopped by mistake? Undo brings the session back with its original start time.

Fuel left, estimated

Give a generator its tank size and the app keeps a running estimate — "≈ 2.4 L · ~4.8 h left" — from refills and run time. A refill takes a few taps: to full, same as last time or a stepper.

Clear analytics

Run hours and fuel by month for the last six months, split by generator colour — petrol and diesel are never summed into one bar — plus totals per generator.

Maintenance reminders

Oil, filters, spark plugs — set intervals by engine hours, by days or both. Each task shows how much of the interval is used, and overdue work is flagged on the home screen with ▲.

Any number of generators

From a single home backup unit to a rental fleet. Several generators can run at once; a live bar keeps the running ones a tap away on every screen.

Sync across devices

Sign in to keep a phone and a tablet in step. Edits made offline merge safely once you are back online.

Readable day and night

Warm paper light theme, true-black dark theme for OLED and night outages, plus a guide to the system red filter. English or Ukrainian.

How it works

Three steps, and the generator is on the record

No setup wizard, no manual. Everything else the app works out by itself.

  1. Step 1.

    Add your generator

Name, model and power. One unit or a whole fleet — each gets its own history.

  2. Step 2.

    Tap start, tap stop

Tap Start on the home screen when the power goes out and Stop when it comes back. Fuel used and engine hours are worked out for you.

  3. Step 3.

    Service on time

Set intervals in hours or days. The home screen marks what is overdue with ▲, so service happens before a breakdown.

Live tracking

Start when it starts. Stop when it stops.

A live clock to the second, fuel used and fuel left in the tank, and big square buttons that are easy to hit in the dark during an outage or with gloves on a job site. Forgot to tap? Fix the start time later.

Maintenance tasks on iPhone with interval bars: oil change overdue, air filter due soon, spark plug OK

Maintenance

Service on time, not after a breakdown.

Each task tracks engine hours and days since the last service and shows the used part of the interval as a bar with a limit tick. Overdue and due-soon tasks are flagged on the home screen; one tap marks a task as serviced.

Refill sheet on Android: litre stepper, to-full and same-as-last-time presets, filled-to-full checkbox and the level after the refill

Refills

A refill in three taps.

Presets for "to full" and "same as last time", a stepper for anything else and a preview of the level after the refill. A full tank calibrates the estimate, and the app tells you when it was off.

Analytics on iPhone: run hours and fuel by month as bars split by generator colour, with all-time totals

Analytics

See where the hours and the fuel go.

Square monthly bars split by generator colour, all-time totals with litres per hour and a per-generator list — filter to one generator or look at all of them.

What's new

What's new in version 3.0.0

Generator Tracker 3.0 is redesigned around what you do during a power cut: start the generator in one tap, keep an eye on it, and never miss maintenance.

What's New

  • Start and Stop from the home screen: running generators move to the top with a live timer, fuel left and a big Stop button. Several generators can run at once.
  • Undo instead of "Are you sure?": Stop works immediately; tap Undo within 5 seconds if it was a mistake.
  • Fuel left: add your tank size in the generator settings to see roughly how much fuel and how many hours are left. Marking a refill "filled to full" keeps the estimate accurate.
  • New refill sheet: a stepper, quick presets (to full, same as last time) and a reminder to turn the engine off first — "Stop and refill" ends the session for you. After saving, "Start again" is one tap away.
  • Generator screen: a live clock, fuel used and left, engine hours that include the running session, and maintenance bars showing how much of each service interval is used.
  • Other generators at a glance: a bar at the bottom shows what else is running, with a Stop button.
  • New look: a warm light theme and a true-black dark theme that saves battery, clear high-contrast buttons, and a theme setting (light, dark or system). Settings also explain how to turn on a red screen at night.
  • Clearer analytics: monthly run hours and fuel as bars split by generator colour, totals and a per-generator list on one page.
  • New app icon.

Changed

  • Starting, stopping and deleting no longer show confirmation pop-ups.
